Initial Consultation

The initial consultation requires a referral.

Referrals from a General Practitioner are valid for twelve months, and Specialist referrals are valid for three months.

At the initial consultation, Dr Tollesson will briefly cover your medical history and assess your condition. An extended period of time is allocated for the initial consultation and therefore a higher fee is charged.

Follow-up Consultations

You may need to return for follow-up consultations after your initial consultation. This may be required for Dr Tollesson to review test results, carry out further investigations and for ongoing monitoring of your condition. Usually a lesser time is allocated for these consultations. A time-based fee is applicable for follow-up consultations.

What to Bring to Your Consultation

  • Your referral letter
  • Past and recent x-rays, scans and laboratory results
  • Your medicare card and health fund card
  • A list of medication(s) you are currently taking
